Impact 2008

Impact 2008 is a discipleship training weekend put on by SBC. It's mission is to challenge and equip high school students to effectively minister God's grace to a needy world.

Hey Retreaters & Youth Leaders!

We are excited to have you as our guests on campus Nov 21-22.  Registration begins at 4:30 pm in our south front entrance. Proceed here before going to your accommodations as you will obtain a schedule, instructions, etc. Supper is served at 6:00 pm in the dining hall. First main session begins at 7:00 pm. Impact concludes Saturday evening with our final session ending by 9:00pm.

What you and your students should bring:

- Sleeping bag and pillow.
- Money for Tim Horton’s runs, snacks, souvenirs, etc.
- Personal items, such as clothes, toothpaste, deodorant, etc.
- Bible, pen, and paper (bring these to the sessions & seminars).
- Work and outdoor clothes if students sign up for certain service opportunities (students should be prepared to be outdoors).
- A willingness to put your faith into action through a service opportunity.

This year the theme for the weekend is TRANSFORM with the key Biblical text being Romans 12:1-2. Sid Koop is back as the main speaker. These two days will be packed with times of worship and prayer, service opportunities, sessions, and dorm activities.
